In this photograph, Grand Master "Iron" Kim is demonstrating a movement of Kyong Gong Sul Bope (flying side kick). Kyong Gong Sul Bope means moving like a feather in the air. From a low jumping position the body moves upward at a 90 degree angle then out again, moving parallel to the ground. The body can adjust while in the air the distance needed to strike the opponent, then quickly moving down with an explosive strike. This Kyong Gong Sul Bope (flying side kick) should not be confused with jump side kick. The mental concentration and physical strength needed to achieve this movement can easily be seen in the face, hands and feet position. One of many special personal achievements, Grand Master "Iron" Kim has reached is the "Kyong Gong Sul Bope," flying side kick.
The best that we understand, through our research, only a small number of people have reached a similar level of achievement this century. Someone's level of internal strength can be difficult to measure, but looking at this photograph one can visibly see the great mental and physical strength needed to reach this movement. Some higher Moo Doe practitioners throughout history have left behind pictures, paintings and drawings depicting the achievements of their movements. Over the centuries, the names of many of these individuals have been forgotten, but the movement they have left behind will be remembered by many. One of Grand Master "Iron" Kim's greatest and most important accomplishments is being achieved through sharing his knowledge which enables hundreds of thousands of people to benefit their daily lives. Grand Master "Iron" Kim hopes that others will be able to reach a level of accomplishment greater than he has achieved.
